   Holotype ANSP 253088 (22.2 mm long specimen), Zanzibar, Tanzania.
  Paratype(s) WAM 851-66, 6-10 fathoms, west of Flat Island, Near Onslow, Western Australia; ANSP 212695 (28.4 mm long specimen, collected Feb. 20 1960), 8 fathoms, finegrass and shell bottom), Zanzibar, 1.5 miles W.S.W. of Ras Mungwe, Tanzania; WAM 847-66, 23 fathoms, off Lengendre Island, Dampier Archipelago, Western Australia; WAM 840-66, low tide, Eagle Island, Western Australia; WAM 838-66, 14 fathoms, 14 miles west of Eaglehawk Island, Western Australia.
