[Pt 3, published Apr. 1838, publication dated as 1837–1838] [pl. 60] [spelling of magnirostra emended to magnirostris to accord with gender of Sericornis Gould, 1838, by Gould, The Birds of Australia 3(1848: pl. 52), indicating that he treated the name adjectivally; as that spelling has been used in all subsequent literature ('decisive evidence of usage'), it is retained here under ICdZN Art. 31.2.2].
