Family SAMOIDAE Sörensen, 1886
Introduction
The Samoinae were regarded as a subfamily of the Phalangodidae by Roewer (1912, 1923), but were raised to full family level by Starega (1992). They occur in the Old World tropics, and two Australian genera, Badessania and Bindoona, have been described.
