This species does not appear to belong in Eriococcus based on the illustration in Green, E.E. 1915. New species of Coccidae from Australia. Bulletin of Entomological Research 6: 45–53 and may not even be an eriococcid.

STRUCTURE

Adult female is dark and castaneous brown, naked and smooth. Insect becomes clear in potash (see Green, E.E. 1915. New species of Coccidae from Australia. Bulletin of Entomological Research 6: 45–53).
