Genus Ptiloris Swainson, 1825
Introduction
Members of this genus have been placed in Lophorina following Irestedt et al. (2009), however a more recent analysis specific to the Lophorina-Ptiloris complex by Irestedt et al. (2017) supports the traditional placement of these species in the genus Ptiloris.
