Introduction

Phyllorycteridae Walsingham, 1914 is based on Phyllorycter Walsingham, 1914, an unjustified emendation of Phyllonorycter Hübner, 1822. Under the Code (edn. 3) Article 35(d)(ii) the spelling of the stem of the family-group must be corrected to Phyllonorycteridae (Nye & Fletcher 1991: xxiv).
