Introduction
Toussaint et al. (2022) revised the higher classification of the Trapezitinae based on a robust molecular phylogeny which resulted in a number of nomenclatural changes concerning genera, species and subspecies. These nomenclatural changes include the synonymy of the genus Neohesperilla Waterhouse & Lyell, 1914 under Toxidia Mabille, 1891.
