Introduction
The sole described representative of this subfamily in Australia is probably not a true orgeriine (A.F. Emeljanov, pers. comm. 2005). Wherever the affinities of the Australian species lie, undescribed species are known from southern Western Australia.
Diagnosis
The Orgeriinae are cryptic, litter dwelling planthoppers, usually brachypterous. The Australian species matches these features but Emeljanov (pers. comm. 2005) indicates that it is not a true orgeriine.
