Introduction

The Nocticolidae are known from six small delicate species that live either in caves or termite nests. The eyes of the cave-dwelling species are absent or reduced and the legs are extraordinarily long. Roth (1988) described two species from Queensland and three from Western Australia (Roth 1991, 1995), and also mentionaed one undescribed species from Western Australia.
