- Gerygone insularis Ramsay, E.P. 1878. On two new species of Gerygone. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 3: 116-117 [117] [orignally described as Gerygone insularius [Sic]; this name is emended as a justfiable emendation ICdZN Art. 32.2.2].
