  Type data:

   Holotype SAMA D.12901 (considered holotype, but valves not conspecific), shell sand, Holdfast Bay, South Australia
  Comment: the type material consists of two species, one which is Lasaea australis sensu Ponder (Australian Museum Records). In need of revision.
