Littoral, marine, sublittoral.

Extra Ecological Information

Algae, epizoic, among sponges and bryozoans, intertidal to 22 m. According to Lowry & Fenwick (1983) Parapherusa crassipes occurs “intertidally among algae, coralline algae, sponges encrusting barnacles, hydroids, fine gravel and in Duruillaea antarctica holdfasts; subtidally among algae, in Lessonia variegata holdfasts, on fine shelly sand and among bryozoans”.
