Extra Distribution Information
Halichondria microbiana is relatively common at Darwin and Bynoe Harbours, NT, and it was also observed at Wessel Is. (Raragala I.) and recorded from the Northeastern Australian Shelf (Alvarez and Hooper, unpublished data). It occurs between 6–12 m depth (Alvarez & Hooper 2011). Includes Halichondria stalagmitessensu Hooper et al. (1997: 43) [in part; not Z.2651 and Z.3147]
