Genus Gowidon Wells & Wellington, 1984

Introduction

Gowidon has been resurrected by Melville et al. (2011) to accomodate one species previously included in the genus Lophognathus.
Cogger (2014) proposes to include provisionally also the species , although the molecular analyses by Melville et al. (2011) show that this taxon should more properly be placed in a separate genus, still to be described.
