PHILOPTERIDAE: Goniocotes fasciatus Piaget, 1880 [listed by Johnston & Harrison (1912: 8) from Calopsittacus novaehollandiae (= Nymphicus hollandicus (Kerr, 1792)) is a contaminant from a South American species of Ara (Guimarães 1975: 259) as Paragoniocotes fasciatus (Piaget, 1880)]

PHILOPTERIDAE: Goniocotes latus major Neumann, 1890 [listed by Thompson & Plomley (1938: 112) from Probosciger aterrimus (Gmelin, 1788) is a contaminant from Goura cristata (Pallas, 1764) from New Guinea (Hopkins & Clay (1952: 180) as Kodocephalon major (Neumann, 1890))]
