Ecological Descriptors

Larva: lerp-former, sap-sucker (associated flora: Eucalyptus bridgesiana R.T.Baker, 1898 [MYRTACEAE] Apple Box; Eucalyptus blakelyi Maiden, 1917 [MYRTACEAE] Blakely's Red Gum; Eucalyptus brassiana S.T.Blake, 1977 [MYRTACEAE] Cape York Red Gum; Eucalyptus tereticornis Smith, 1795 [MYRTACEAE] Forest Red Gum; Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh., 1832 [MYRTACEAE] River Red Gum; Eucalyptus dealbata Cunn. Ex Schauer, 1843 [MYRTACEAE] Tumbledown Gum; Eucalyptus mannifera Mudie [MYRTACEAE]).

Extra Ecological Information

On Eucalyptus bridgesiana, E. dealbata and E. ?nitens in NSW and SA, E. blakelyi in ACT, NSW and SA, E. brassiana in ACT, E. camaldulensis in NSW and SA (also California), E. mannifera maculosa in ACT, E. tereticornis SA and QLD, also Eucalyptus sp. on Mauritius; forms round lerps.
