Diagnosis

Shell small, discoidal to depressedly trochoidal with a moderately raised, stepped spire; whorls tightly coiled with angulate to rounded periphery; sutures impressed; protoconch with coarse, relatively widely spaced spiral grooves and prominent curved radial growth lines, teleoconch initially with coarse, moderately spaced spiral grooves becoming fine, very crowded, incised spiral threads; umbilicus narrow with internal spiral cords. Epiphallus entering penis through a simple pore. Penis internally with apical zone of pustules arranged in zig-zag rows giving rise to longitudinal pilasters in the lower part. Epiphallic caecum and flagellum absent.
