- Gehyra koira ipsa Horner, P. 2005. Gehyra koira sp. nov. (Reptilia: Gekkonidae), a new species of lizard with two allopatric subspecies from the Ord-Victoria region of north-western Australia and a key to the Gehyra australis species complex. The Beagle, Records of the Museums and Art Galleries of the Northern Territory 21: 165-174 [171].

Comment: Three paratypes of G. koira ipsa Horner 2005 re-identified by Oliver et al. (2020) as G. koira: WAM R101237, WAM R104283, WAM R104289. See paratypes under G. koira.

Described as one of two subspecies of D. koira, raised to specific level by Oliver et al. (2020)

Extra Distribution Information
Distribution centred in the Bungle Bungle Range of NE WA; also found at other sites in Purnululu National Park and in the Osmand Range, WA.
