Priority [was] given to E. plectroneura Lower as first revisers. There are problems with the identities of both. A specimen is marked as the 'type' of E. plectroneura in SAMA but it is very damaged. If it is a male as stated in the description then the antennal pectinations do not agree with the description. All the surviving specimens, identified by Lower as S. diagramma Lower, cannot be syntypes. The synonymy of the two names should be regarded as tentative)
