Ecological Descriptors

Adult: pest, volant.

Larva: aquatic.

Extra Ecological Information

Adult attacks humans; localised nuisance pests in bushland; larva found in shaded pools and in subterranean pools in tunnels of land crayfish (Engaeus spp.).
