[268] (Note #503: Hyles Hübner [1919]. Hyles euphorbiae (Linnaeus, 1759). A single specimen was recorded by Lower (1915b, 1916a) from Broken Hill. The specimen was "secured in the mail-room of our local post office" and was considered by Lower to be an accidental introduction. This species is here excluded from the list and there are no other Australian records)
