From Pinnacle Mountain 12 km SW Dimbulah, QLD, south through coastal and central NSW, VIC and SA, and from near Yanchep, WA.

Australian Endemic.

Larva: unknown.

Extra Ecological Information

Larval food/attendant ants not recorded, but on two occasions immature stages have been found associated with the Coconut Ant, Papyrius sp. (nitidus group) [FORMICIDAE] (Dolichoderinae).
