  Comment: Blanchard in the original description did not indicate the number of specimens described; Couchman, L.E. 1956. A catalogue of the Tasmanian Lepidoptera-Rhopalocera. Pap. Proc. R. Soc. Tasm. 90: 1–33 [15] (referred to a holotype but knew of no specimen).

Ecological Descriptors

Larva: herbivore (associated flora: Bursaria spinosa Cav. [PITTOSPORACEAE] Boxthorn; Citriobatus multiflorus A. Cunn. [PITTOSPORACEAE]).

Extra Ecological Information

Larvae are attended by Anonychomyrma itinerans (Lowne, 1865) (Formicidae).
