Species Biscirus obliquus Wallace & Mahon, 1973

Introduction

At the head of the description of this species, Wallace & Mahon (1973) show the name Biscirus ubliquus. The same name is spelled obliquus elsewhere in the same paper, and it is explained that the species is named obliquus to refer to the oblique striations. The name ubliquus is therefore an incorrect original spelling.
