Introduction
This family is further classified within Crucimusculata within the clade Aberrantospermata Jondelius, Wallberg, Hooge & Raikova, 2011. Approximately 24 genera included with around 111 species (Tyler et al., 2006-2020), with four genera and 5 species recorded from Australia. Many of the remaining genera are also likely to be present in Australia but more work on the group is required to confirm their presence.
