   Aleurodicus Douglas, 1892.

Diagnosis

Puparia with subdorsal compound pores, each of which may bear a central process, be ring-like or agglomerate. Lingula usually large and extending beyond boundary of vasiform orifice and bearing four setae which are usually all stout, sometimes with two setae extremely reduced, or lingula may not bear setae and be entirely or almost entirely accomodated within the vasiform orifice. Legs without adhesion pads, usually each with an apical claw or more rarely, a point. (Martin 1999, 2004, 2008)

Adults and particularly immatures often characterised by extensive wax production
