Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 1.4-1.5 mm. Head rugosely punctate. Pronotum rugose in peripheral areas; lateral antebasal foveae setose. Elytra with discal stria thin, distinct to near elytral apices. Males with eyes of about 40 facets; mesotrochanters with ventral margin carinate; sternites II-III with broad longitudinal sulci near lateral margins, mesal margins of sulci densely setose. Females with eyes of about 10 facets.
