Introduction
Lambkin (2023) collected two specimens (1♂, 1♀) from Boigu Island, northern Torres Strait, Queensland during February 2023, which represents the first record of the nominate subspecies from Australia.

Larva: herbivore (associated flora: Imperata cylindrica (L.) P.Beauv. [POACEAE] Blady Grass; Panicum maximum Jacq., 1781 [POACEAE] Guinea Grass; Saccharum officinarum L. [POACEAE]).
