The Australian Museum holds specimens from Port Stephens to Sydney, NSW only. Wilson (1993) extends the range southwards to South Australia, no doubt based on Cotton (1959) who treats it in detail as occurring in SA. Macpherson & Gabriel (1962) does not list it from Victoria and May (1923) does not list it from Tasmania
