Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 1.8-1.9 mm. Body smooth. Head with V-shaped vertexal sulcus distinct though broad, vertexal foveae nude; base with short median carina. Pronotum with antebasal sulcus often faint between antebasal foveae; portion of pronotum posterior to antebasal sulcus more rugose than disc. Abdomen with visible tergite 1 (IV) as long as tergites of following 3 segments combined. Legs with second tarsomeres slightly longer than third tarsomeres. Males lacking secondary modifications of body; large-eyed males with fully developed wings, eyes formed by about 60 facets; small-eyed males with eyes formed by about 10 facets, lacking fully developed wings, humeral angles less developed. Females with eyes formed by about 10 facets.
