Extra Ecological Information

Adult bite humans at night and taken in horse-baited traps, specimens found in open forests in tropical areas and wet sclerophyll forest with some Pandanus [Pandanaceae] plants; larva found in hollow Eucalyptus alba [Myrtaceae] log filled with water.
