Ecological Descriptors

Larva: attendant ants, herbivore (associated flora: Acacia decurrens Willd. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle; Acacia mearnsii De Wild. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle; Acacia melanoxylon R.Br. [FABACEAE] Blackwood; Acacia obtusifolia A.Cunn. [FABACEAE] Blunt leaf Wattle; Acacia trachyphloia Tind. [FABACEAE] Bodalla Wattle; Acacia elata Benth. [FABACEAE] Mountain Cedar Wattle; Acacia dealbata Link [FABACEAE] Silver Wattle; Acacia terminalis (Salisb.) J.F.Macbr. [FABACEAE] Sunshine Wattle; Acacia pravissima Benth. [FABACEAE] Wedge-leaved Wattle).

Extra Ecological Information

Larvae are attended by the ant Anonychomyrma biconvexa (Santschi), occurs in eucalypt tall-open forest, open-forest and subalpine woodland where the larval food plant grows and where colonies of the attendant ant are established.
