Introduction

A fairly common species previously confused with Tornatellinops jacksonensis.

Central lowlands of Lord Howe Island. Key localities include Blinky Beach and The Clear Place.

Low littoral vegetation on leaves of shrubs and grasses

 

Diagnosis

Shell minute to very small, dark honey brown, glossy, conical, tightly coiled, compact, columella wide with a slight bulge, parietal tooth and columella lamella very prominent in juveniles, smooth, narrow umbilicus, height 2 mm.
