Diagnosis

Carapace elongate to subquadrangular, compressed laterally. Dorsal margin nearly straight, posterodorsal cardinal angle prominent. Anterior end more broadly rounded than posterior. Surface strongly reticulate, or with undulating ridges. Inner lamella wide. Marginal pore canals long and branching. Hinge amphidont/archidont.
