Nest in dead, dry pithy stems (Cakile Miller [Brassicaceae], Euphorbia L. [Euphorbiaceae], Foeniculum Miller [Apiaceae], Geranium L. [Geraniaceae]), weakly social, each female founding and maintaining her own nest, all immature stages found in the communal chamber, larvae fed progressively, flower visiting record: pigface, Cakile Miller [Brassicaceae], Geranium L. [Geraniaceae], Reichardia Roth [Asteraceae], Wahlenbergia Roth [Campanulaceae].
