Ecological Descriptors

Adult: mellivore, solitary, volant.

Larva: sedentary.

Extra Ecological Information

Nest (of resin, gum, or mud) in old mud-wasp (Sceliphron laetum (Smith) Sphecidae) nest, in cardboard trap nest, in drilled wooden blocks or in polystyrene bee boards, flower visiting records: lucerne, Pongamia Vent. [Fabaceae], Pultenaea Sm. [Fabaceae].
