Ecological Descriptors

Adult: predator, terrestrial.

 

Diagnosis

Length 2.5 mm. Head and pronotum brown, with setae short and appressed; elytra orange, abdomen orange-brown. Head and pronotum coarsely punctate, punctures faint on elytra and abdomen; antennomeres X only slightly larger than antennomeres IX. Abdomen with discal carinae on visible tergite 1 (IV) extending through length, 2 (V) with discal carinae present only in basal half. Legs with protibiae swollen at middle, constricted at apical fifth. Male eyes with about 70 facets; with antennal clubs stout; visible sternite 3 (V) flattened at middle fourth. Female eyes with about 70 facets.
