Subspecies Pseudomys albocinereus albocinereus (Gould, 1845)

The locality of the lectotype is recorded in the BMNH Register as Perth].
    Type data:
     Lectotype BMNH 44.7.9.16 skin & skull (see skin label; Gould, loc. cit. records the locality of M. albocinereus as Moore River, Western Australia, but Moore River sensu Gould could include scrubby plains near Perth. The locality of the lectotype is recorded in the BMNH Register as Perth), scrubby plains near Perth, W. Aust.
