Larva: free-living, sap-sucker (associated flora: Acacia decurrens Willd. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle; Acacia mearnsii De Wild. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle; Acacia pycnantha Benth. [FABACEAE] Golden Wattle; Acacia longifolia (Andrews) Willd. [FABACEAE] Sydney Golden Wattle; Acacia cyclops A.Cunn. ex G.Don [FABACEAE] Western Coastal Wattle).

Extra Ecological Information

On Acacia decurrens in NSW and SA, other species 'E. Australia'; larvae often in colonies.
