Introduction

Balogh & Balogh (2002) referred to this species as Gehypochthonius rhadamantus Aoki, 1975, and specifically said that it does not occur in Australia. However, Aoki (1975) did not describe Gehypochthonius rhadamantus as a new species, but attributed it to Jacot (1936).
