Known in Australia along the eastern coast south to Grafton, NSW; extralimital distribution—Papua New Guinea.

Larva: attendant ants, herbivore (associated flora: Dendrophthoe glabrescens (Blakely) Barlow [LORANTHACEAE] Orange Mistletoe; Amyema miquelii (Lehm. ex Miq.) Tiegh. [LORANTHACEAE] Stalked Mistletoe; Amyema bifurcata (Benth.) Tiegh. [LORANTHACEAE]; Amyema conspicua (F.M.Bailey) Danser [LORANTHACEAE]; Amyema sanguinea (F.Muell.) Danser [LORANTHACEAE]; Dendrophthoe curvata (Blume) Miq. [LORANTHACEAE]; Dendrophthoe homoplastica (Blakely) Danser [LORANTHACEAE]; Dendrophthoe vitellina (F.Muell.) Tiegh. Extra Ecological Information

Larvae shelter under bark or in curled leaves, pupae can emit audible sounds, both larvae and pupae are ant attended by Crematogaster sp.
