Diagnosis

Head with setose vertexal foveae; antennal tubercles prominent, with dorsal postantennal slits. Pronotum with lateral margins emarginate adjacent to setose lateral antebasal foveae; with distinct antebasal sulcus between lateral antebasal foveae, deep median antebasal fovea with thin carina extending to pronotal base; prosternum usually with median carina. Elytra with four basal foveae, outer two foveae in shared setose impression; carinate discal stria extending to elytral apex. Visible tergites 1-2 (IV-V) slightly longer than following tergites.
