Adult: mellivore, volant.

Collected on flowers of Crotolaria eremaea, Kennedia prorepens, Swainsona, Crotalaria, Goodenia, Helipterum, Thryptomene maisonneuvei, Gompholobium polyzygum, Dicrastylis brunnea, Baeckea stowardii, Ptilotus obovatus and Mirbelia ramulosa

 

Diagnosis

Length 11–13 mm; eyes not hairy; malar space short; metasoma sericeous with broad bands. Male metasoma slender; legs slender; tibiae, tarsi and antenna ventrally orange-brown. Female pubescence of scutum short, dense; only hind tarsal claw with small inner ramus.
