Introduction

Nesopupa novopommerana is a northern Australain species with an extralimital distribution extending to Indonesia and New Britain. Compared with N. scotti, N. novopommerana has a shell with bolder barriers and a more tapered spire.

Diagnosis

Shell very small, golden-brown, elongately tapered; surface of shell finely wrinkled with occasional oblique radial growth threads; aperture sub-quadrate with five denticles: a columellar, separate angular and parietal and two parietals; height to 2.6 mm.
