Introduction
The genus Veradia was moved from the Pterostichini to the Harpalini by Straneo (1941), however final placement was not possible without examination of the type material. Moore et al. (1987) maintained the genus in Harpalitae incertae sedis. Will (2015) examined the holotype of this species and confirmed its place in the Harpalini and the synonymy of Veradia with Lecanomerus.
