Notes

This worm resembles in some respects Ikeda taenoides (Ikeda, 1904), known from six Japanese specimens. A specific identification of the specimens from SA is not possible on account of the damage to their nephridial and anal regions. Edmonds (1987) tentatively assigned it to the genus Ikeda.
