Introduction

The combination of very small size, prominent branching spiral wrinkles and very wide, cup-shaped umbilicus readily distinguishes Microdelos from both Vitellidelos and Montidelos.

Diagnosis

Shell very small, discoidal with an angular periphery, spire flat; protoconch smooth, teleoconch sculpture of prominent branched spiral wrinkles crossing weak radial growth lines above, strong spiral grooves below; umbilicus very wide, cup-shaped. Colour pale yellow to white often with darker streaks.
