Extra Distribution Information

Central and N WA, and adjacent parts of NT and SA, all W Australia except extreme wet south-west (south-west of Busselton-Manjimup-Denmark), north to SW Kimberley Division (Dampier Land), east to western fringes of Great Sandy, Gibson and Great Victoria Deserts and Nullarbor Plain, with outliers along east margins of those deserts from southern Kimberley Division to west central Australian Ranges (Rawlinson-Petermann and Warburton-Tompkinson-Mann Ranges). Intergrades with O. l. lophotes (Temminck, 1822) on broad front on eastern margins of range from central Kimberley Division through E Great Victoria, Gibson and Great Sandy Deserts to west central Australian Ranges as detailed under that subpsecies.
