Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Etymology:"...out of compliment to Mr Charles Crossland, who had charge of the Kimberley survey expedition of last year."
Comment:Although a separate description is not given for the genus the name is validly published by provision of a brief description for the single species (descriptio generico-specifica; ICN Art. 38.5 (Shenzhen Code, 2018)).
