The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Comment:The designation "Diplopeltis sect. Diplopeltis" is listed by A.S.George & G.Erdtman, Grana Palynol. 9: 93, 98, 100 (1970), J.G.West, Fl. Australia 25: 103 (1985), and by A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 1022 (1991). However, this autonym had not been established as no sectional names had been validly published within Diplopeltis at the time (ICN Art. 22.3 (Shenzhen Code, 2018)).
